Storm Damage – Marshfield and Plainfield Vermont 2013

A powerful summer storm swept through Plainfield, Marshfield, Duxbury, and beyond on Sunday, June 2, 2013. The high winds and heavy rains caused extensive damage and widespread power outages in many of the surrounding rural communities.

According to neighbors the home is owned by Leslie Rabins who also owns One More Time in Montpelier. Neighbor David Ertel who lives two houses down on the opposite side of the road was home when the storm hit, several cedar trees fell in his yard in addition to one that fell across Hollister Hill Rd. Ertel and his neighbors were able to use a chainsaw and a tractor to remove the tree blocking the road, one of many that fell on Hollister Hill.
